With the introduction of Snabble's cloud-native POS Platform, workwear manufacturer Strauss is further expanding the IT infrastructure of its workwear stores, taking the next step into the digital future.
Strauss is a company group and the world's leading brand for workwear and occupational safety. The company manages its brand in a vertical setup from design, manufacturing, marketing, and sales to the point of sale as a global full-verticalist. In its own workwear stores, Strauss brings the brand to life and creates a shopping experience that sets new standards.
With the modernization of its POS IT landscape, Strauss is pursuing three key objectives:
Improve the customer experience: The POS is seen as part of the brand presentation – with the aim of seamlessly combining interaction, advisory services and the purchasing process.
Increasing employee experience: Intuitive operation and reduced training requirements are intended to facilitate daily work in the store.
The decision to go with Snabble was based on its technological architecture and fast implementation speed. The system makes it possible to precisely map individual requirements and put them into production within a very fast time frame – a key factor for the agile further development of the retail infrastructure at Strauss.
“The fact that our POS platform will be used at Strauss in the future marks an important milestone for us,” says Sebastian Mancke, CEO of Snabble. “Strauss stands for innovation, quality, technology and sustainability – values with which we strongly identify.”
