What can be expected from Snabble in 2022?

The topics of self-checkout and scan & go gained exponentially increasing interest in 2021. Accordingly, major technological advances by various retail companies can be expected this year. The Snabble Self-Checkout Cloud will also be of importance. With q.beyond AG as an investor, new projects and product enhancements will be launched.

The Snabble Self-Checkout Cloud

As the demands and requirements of customers grow, so does the functionality of the Snabble Self-Checkout Cloud. Also in 2022, the goal of development is to provide a seamless shopping experience that meets the demands of customers. To this end, the simplicity of buying and the user flow of the app is one of Snabble's strongest unique selling points. Based on this, features will be expanded and improved.

In addition, the focus is on the benefits for retailers. It is not only end customers who benefit enormously from using Scan & Go. Store employees and managers also benefit from the introduction of a Scan & Go solution. Convenient use and easy access to analysis and control functions are therefore the focus of development in 2022.

First quarter events

We hope for a year full of physical events. Unfortunately, due to the increasing incidence, we have to cancel the first one. Initially, a visit to New York at the NRF Retail’s Big Show was planned. This will take place from January 16-18 at the Javits Center. Nevertheless, our partners Tiliter and Pyramid can be visited. Tiliter can be found at booth 1152 and Pyramid at booth 6829.

Europe's leading trade fair for retail technology, the EuroCIS 2022, starts in February. The event of the newly thought and the newly made as well as a hotspot for everyone who makes new things possible, drives developments forward and is on the way to the digital future. Together with our partner Pan Oston we will be in hall 10 at booth 34.

The following week, from February 23rd to 24th, the Retail Tech Stockholm will take place in the Swedish capital. It is considered to be Sweden's most important meeting place for the future of trade. Snabble can also be found there as an exhibitor.

We will take part in many more events over the course of the year.
