Escape Of The Trade Fairs

The start of the new year is accompanied by a pandemic that seems to remain with us in 2022. Now that the incidence figures are rising again and again, some trade show organizers have pulled the ripcord and rescheduled their events. We are pleased that these have only been postponed and not completely canceled.

NRF New York

New York would have been the first destination of a big trip this year. Unlike other trade shows, this one was not canceled or postponed by the organizer. It will still take place from January 16 to 18 at the Javits Center in Manhattan. Due to the utopian high incidences, Snabble has decided to postpone the visit of the show until next year.

EuroCIS

From New York to Düsseldorf. The trade show organizers of EuroCIS announced on January 12 that EuroCIS 2022 will be postponed to May 31-June 2, 2022. Messe Düsseldorf decided on this new date in close consultation with exhibiting companies and participating partners due to the dynamic infection situation and the continued uncertainty regarding travel and quarantine requirements in individual European countries. EuroCIS was originally scheduled for February 15 to 17.

In addition to the trade show itself, we were already able to announce two talks. These will be retained in the postponed program in consultation with EHI. You can still look forward to Ben Wedel, who will talk about the future of the Connected Customer. He will join you in taking a close look at customer interactions in these uncertain times: It's clear that customer expectations and behaviors have changed fundamentally, rapidly and permanently. As our physical world has shrunk, the digital imperative that companies have grappled with for decades has now reached its breaking point.

Patrick Kruschinski, on the other hand, will talk about "Sales Advisory Now & Then" and how technology is changing the job of the retail salesperson. He will take a closer look at the heart of Brick & Mortar, the customer advisory service.

Retail Tech Stockholm

Iväg till Stockholm - Sweden's capital also cannot escape the pandemic. The Stockholm trade show is also postponing Retail Tech to April 20-21. The organizers comment as follows:

It is of course disappointing to bring the show forward to April, but the strength of Retail TECH, e-Commerce Expo and Mark Tech Expo 2022 is to give all visitors and exhibitors the opportunity to meet face-to-face, build relationships, share solutions, inspire each other and create opportunities for new business relationships. This is not possible under the current circumstances and existing constraints.

We are looking forward to enjoying the Swedish hospitality in April. If you are interested in meeting us at Retail Tech or learning about specific case studies of ours, feel free to contact Patrick Kruschinski!
