Snabble mobile self-checkout usage soars to the best month in company history

Snabble is proud to announce that the first month after the end of German lockdown posted record numbers in the usage of the snabble mobile self-checkout platform. The usage in the past 30 days outperformed the month of December 2019, which has been the strongest month yet.

All relevant metrics bested the usually strong Christmas-shopping period by up to 23%, even though many retailers had to limit the number of customers that are allowed in a store simultaneously. The sharp increase in average shopping cart value, that many retailers see, are also reflected in purchases where snabble software was involved. These strong numbers demonstrate the urgent customer need for mobile self-checkout reducing the risk of infection while increasing the customer flow through any store.
