For the 4th time we will be represented at the EHI Technology Days including an own booth. Our experts Ben Wedel, Patrick Kruschinski and Sebastian Mancke are looking forward to interesting conversations on both days. 

TeeGschwendner On Stage

How can a very traditional industry with a broad target group master the way into the future - and still keep its focus on consulting and service? Tradition and innovation shape the very special design of the sales concept at TeeGschwendner.

In addition to several other presentations, Birgit Rohn, Head of Marketing at TeeGschwendner, will give a talk this year on TeeGschwendner's new store concept. The keynote will take place on November 10 at 12:30. We are looking forward to it!

The new sales concept can already be experienced in the tea store in Nuremberg: On the one hand, Snabble software offers the possibility to scan and pay for items at a stationary self-checkout terminal of the manufacturer Pyramid. On the other hand, purchases can be made using the customer's own smartphone via the Snabble app. When customers enter the store and open the Snabble app, the TeeGschwendner specialty store in Nuremberg, for example, is recognized via geofencing. The shopping experience using the smartphone can begin. Customers are able to scan items by themselves via the different barcodes and pay with various in-app payment options.

EHI Self-Checkout Initiative

As part of the EHI Technology Days, an SCO special will take place on November 10 as well. In this context, a program outside of grocery trade has been put together in regards to SCOs, which takes an exciting look at other industries. In the beginning, a current market analysis on the status of SCO and self-scanning installations in Germany will be presented. This will be followed by exciting presentations from different industries. Participation is open to all on-site conference participants of the EHI Technology Days and EHI Connect. As usual, interested retailers can register separately and free of charge for the SCO special.
