Snabble, the market leading self-checkout app, is working with [IKEA](https://www.ikea.com/de/de/) to bring its scan & go technology to IKEA stores. Starting today, IKEA is testing Snabble in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, for a limited time. Customers just need to download the Snabble app and enter the store to start scanning their items. Several checkpoints throughout the store are promoting the app in the coming weeks. There's also a designated express checkout in the checkout area to make sure that customers using Snabble do not have to wait in line. IKEA's goal is to find out if the use of Snabble can improve the productivity of its checkout area and thereby reduce waiting times for customers in store.

"With snabble, IKEA is able to further strengthen its self service concept and gains flexibility during rush hours in store. We're always trying to further reduce waiting times for our customers to enhance their shopping experience." - Dirk Rummel, Country Payment Leader, IKEA Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG

"We at snabble are extremely proud to be able to work with IKEA. The company has been at the forefront of self-scanning for about ten years, and we couldn't be more excited to be part of the next step and the logical evolution of self-scanning at IKEA." - Sebastian Mancke, Founder & CEO, Snabble GmbH
